MUSIC VIDEO SELECTED FOR WATERFORD FILM FESTIVAL

Joe is a performing mandolinist and instructor at Berklee School of Music. Our “music video” for his ethereal improvisational track titled, Tom, is a collaborative, experimental, documentary short film that illustrates a sailing trip out of Bass Harbor, undertaken by Greg Miller of Cuttingsville, Vermont. Greg customized a 1966 O'Day Daysailer and brought it to Bass Harbor where he prepped at my place before sailing amongst the islands for several days and nights.  

I documented Miller’s departure and return from Bass Harbor using a hand-held time-lapse technique. This footage was supplemented by footage from a camera Greg brought on the trip as well as footage by Blair C. Currier.

Joe’s track, Tom will be released in 2023 but our music video was selected to be screened at the 16th Waterford International Film Festival online programme which runs from 11/21 to 11/27. Tom will be considered for all the festival’s awards.
